[descriptions] Trees
[descriptions] Trees
May 2017
I’ve been thinking a lot about how Trees move and why watching them can sometimes feel so good.
After thinking about it for quite some time and struggling to find the right words to describe it, I realized that the key dynamic is that the individual leaves flutter, while simultaneously the larger branch and tree as a whole sways.
It is this combination of flickering and fluttering, and the larger, encapsulating slow swaying that makes watching Trees move in the wind something worth doing.
I clear my mind and slow the internal whirring and simply enjoy the motion of the Tree. The fluttering energizes and the swaying calms.
