Professor mentioned the United airline passenger incident.

Looking at all the passengers that did nothing, it reminded me of the importance of Cornel West’s plea that we must not be merely tolerant of each other, but lovestruck. That evil is not the result of hate, but indifference.

It also reminds me of this idea of ‘freedom’ being ‘work.’ It is not something achieved, but constantly practiced. Anti-prejudice is not an essential trait or feature, but praxis.
